As a result of recent growth and development, our client has a requirement for a qualified Book keeper which is a newly created position. Reporting into the over seas Finance Director, you will be working independently ensuring that all of the companies financial reporting and procedures are managed efficiently. A key part of the role will be to use your auditing experience to ensure the accuracy of final accounts. Other day to day responsibilities will include:
Accounts to the Trial Balance stage
Complete Tax and VAT forms
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Accurate P&L reporting to the MD and Board
Sales, purchase and general ledgers
Prepare and issue monthly management reports
Prepare yearly accounts
Prepare and oversee month end procedures
Payroll including tax and pensions calculations
Enter data, maintain records and reports such as financial statements
Liaise with suppliers and customers via the phone and email regarding any finance related queries
You will be an AAT qualified Bookkeeper that is financially and Commercially astute. This position is a fundamental role within our clients successful organisation. Excellent IT skills including knowledge of financial systems such as Sage are essential. You will be a methodical finance professional that can work consistently under pressure and to tight dead lines with excellent organisational skills. It is essential that you have previous auditing experience.
In return you will receive a full time permanent position within a developing business. You will also
benefit from working in brand new purpose built offices, in a friendly environment with excellent facilities
nearby. The hours of work for this role are 8.30am until 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 4.30pm Friday,
37.5 hour week. Also includes an excellent contributory pension, 20 days holiday rising by 1 each year
of service (max 25).
The salary for this position is circa £30,000 however if you have all of the above
