Job Role

Due to company growth, a Huddersfield based manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Role responsibilities:

Within this role your duties would be:

• Sales ledger
• Purchase ledger
• Bank reconciliation
• Bookkeeping
• Monthly payroll
• Processing invoice discounting
• VAT
• Preparing trial balance / PNL
• Cashflow forecast

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years' experience of working in professional accountancy practice, preparing year end accounts.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience within an Accounting role
• Good common sense.
• Ability to plan ahead.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Able to prioritise work and manage their own time.
