Do you have a Design/Engineering related degree and/0r have been a Technician or a Draughtsperson with experience of 3D Design software such as Vectorworks/AutoCAD ?

This exciting role requires someone who can work with the Engineering & Product development team to design outdoor spaces for Children's play

You will be joining the design engineering/product development team, helping to make brilliant concepts become a reality. No two days will be the same! You will be designing and developing new products and producing technical drawing packs

You must have a genuine passion for creating incredible outdoor spaces and be committed to making a difference to children's lives by designing creative outdoor play spaces through unique designs, concepts and technical drawings that you deliver. You must be passionate about using your creativity and design skills to develop incredible outdoor spaces

The duties will include (but are not limited to):

* Developing new product concepts through extensive research and testing

* Optimising existing products and bespoke designs to increase manufacturing efficiency

* Creating technical (manufacturing) drawings for the workshop team

* Preparing quotations for maintenance and remedial works

* Producing accurate setting out/layout drawings for site teams

* Liaise with sales and design teams, offering technical advice

* Conduct site surveys and consultations where required (will be accompanied by another experienced member of staff)

What you will ideally have...

* Design or engineering related degree ( or equivalant)

* Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills

* A thorough approach and attention to detail

* Experience with 3D design software (Vectorworks/AutoCAD preferred)

* Commercial awareness and time-management skills

* Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently

* Positive working attitude

* Desire and willingness to learn and continually develop

* Understanding of joinery production and workshop tooling (not essential but a big plus)
