CNC Machinist

Semi-Skilled CNC Machinist, Permanent Opportunity, Brackmills Based Company, 40 hours per week with early finish Friday. Salary £13 - £15 per hour depending on experience.

Due to an increase in business, my client is looking for a Semi-Skilled CNC Machinist to join their existing team. Working in the machine shop the role of the CNC machinist the role will involve the following:

• Setting and operating various CNC machines
• Producing safely accurately and efficiently and to specification
• Working with various materials including mild steel, stainless steel, brass, plastics, aluminium and Iron
• Using micrometers and verniers
• Working from diagrams and technical drawings
• Checking the quality of parts produced.

To be considered for this role you are required to have some experience of working as a CNC operator or setter, be able to read from technical drawings and diagrams, be Health & Safety Aware and be able to work as a team.

You will be joining a very well established company with a a team made up of long term employees. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 and 07:30 to 13:30 on a Friday. My client also offers an excellent benefits package including the following
