£29,900 (£26,000 + shift allowance of £3,900), BS11, Avonmouth, permanent, 33 days holiday (rising with service to 38), Pension, Life Insurance, Sick pay, Holiday Sell back scheme, Benefits Platform, Attendance Bonus, Dress down Fridays shift: 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday Late shift: 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday, parking .

Established production engineering company in Avonmouth are recruiting for a cnc operator, cnc Machinist, cnc miller working in a small team of CNC machinists on a 2 shift pattern reporting to the CNC Supervisor.

The cnc operator, cnc Machinist, cnc miller role will involve the following

• cnc machining
• Milling, drilling and skimming metal
• Working with existing proved out programs
• Fanuc controls
• Changing tooling and basic settings
• Working with raw materials to engineering drawings and dimensions

Ideally the cnc operator, cnc Machinist, cnc miller will have a production background in an engineering environment and or qualifications or training in CNC operating and machining. However candidates able to demonstrate a relevant work history in this type of role and experience with other types of CNC equipment i.e.cnc turning or cnc drilling and may have transferable skills suitable for this position.
