CNC Miller

£29,150 - £32,793, Rotherham S60, Permanent position, day shifts, 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days, private health care, pension, free car parking, on site canteen facilities, uniform and premium paid overtime

Due to an increase in orders we are proud to be seeking an experienced CNC Miller based within a state of the art modern manufacturing facility in the S60 Rotherham area, joining their team on a full time permanent basis. As a CNC Miller, reporting into the Supervisor, day to day duties will include:

• Setting and operating CNC Milling 3 axis machines.
• Working with Siemens and Fanuc controls.
• Some manual machining may be required but previous experience isn't necessary.
• Using hand tools.
• Working to engineering drawings.
• Using measuring equipment.
• Setting and operating (90% of programmes are pre written)
• Edit existing programmes.

As a CNC Miller you will be required to:

• Possess a willingness to work overtime as and when required.
• Positive and eager attitude towards work and learning new thing.
• Carry out routine tasks accurately and follow strict processes.
• Ensure you adhere to the Companies strict housekeeping rules.
• Ensure work area is clean, tidy and safe at all times.

This role would suit someone with experience working as a CNC Machinist, CNC Miller, CNC Turner, CNC Lathe Operator, CNC Operator, CNC Setter, CNC Milling Operator, Setter Operator or Manual Machinist within a manufacturing, production, castings or engineering environment.

• £29,150 for initial day shifts, potentially moving to AM / PM rotating shifts increasing the salary to £32,793
• 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days over 5 years
• Monday - Thursday: 8am-4:30pm & Friday 8am - 3:30pm day shifts
• AM and PM shifts in the future Monday - Thursday: 6am - 2pm & Friday 5am - 1pm, Monday - Thursday: 2pm - 10pm & Friday 1pm (please still apply if looking for day shifts, may be considered for the right candidate)
