CNC Machinist
£29,400 (£26,000 + shift allowance of £3,400 + attendance bonus), BS11 Avonmouth, permanent, 33 days holiday (rising with service to 38), Pension, Life Insurance, Sick pay, Holiday Sell back scheme, Benefits Platform, Attendance Bonus, Dress down Fridays shift: 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday Late shift: 2pm to midnight Monday to Thursday ( 9 day fortnight so no working on Friday on the afternoon shift) , parking .

Established production engineering company in Avonmouth are recruiting for a cnc operator, cnc Machinist, cnc miller working in a small team of CNC machinists on a 2 shift pattern reporting to the CNC Supervisor.

The cnc operator, cnc Machinist, cnc miller role will involve the following

• cnc machining
• Milling, drilling and skimming metal
• Working with existing proved out programs
• Fanuc controls
• Changing tooling and basic settings
• Working with raw materials to engineering drawings and dimensions

The cnc operator, cnc Machinist, cnc miller experience and or qualifications

• Ideally the role would suit someone with a production background in an engineering environment.
• Qualifications in CNC operating and machining are useful but not essential for candidates able to demonstrate a relevant work history in this type of role.
• Experience with other types of CNC equipment i.e.cnc turning or cnc drilling may have transferable skills suitable for this position as well.
