£21,000 - £22,100 (£11-£11.50ph) plus overtime

You will receive a generously competitive package including 33 days holiday (inc stats), Christmas shutdown and free car parking. The hours of work for this position are 40 hours per week and are Monday - Friday 8am - 5.00pm

We are proud to be working alongside a Sheffield based Engineering company in assisting them to recruit for an experienced CNC Setter Operator on a full time permanent basis.

As a CNC Setter Operator you will be responsible for working alongside a small and friendly team to contribute towards the timely completion of orders. You will be working from a wide range of materials including plastic, brass and copper. Reporting into the Engineering Manager you will be:

• Primarily operating and setting CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
• Operating more than one machine as and when required.
• Working in line with company procedures and machine capability to ensure production deadlines are met.
• Ensuring work area kept clean and tidy at all times
• Working within a safe environment by adhering to Health & Safety legislation at all times.

To apply for this position you must be able to demonstrate:

• Knowledge of using Siemen and Fanuc controls.
• The ability to modify programs & set machines will also be advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to operate more than one machine as and when required.
• To be motivated with a "can do" attitude.
