Our Newark based client have a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Controller to join the well-established Finance Team. Reporting to the Regional Credit Manager and working closely with six other Credit Controllers, this candidate will be an important fit for the existing hard-working team. The Credit Controller role includes:

• Manage own portfolio of clients to reduce debtor days

• Respond to invoice queries, raising invoices and logging them on the CRM system

• Setting up New Customers, conducting credit checks and creating credit limits

• Producing Customer statements

• Allocating of payments

• Chasing overdue payments and retention's up to litigation stage

The successful Credit Controller will be:

• Competent in Excel and Word packages

• Confident with strong verbal and written communication skills

• Organised, methodical, and able to build relationships with customers

• A team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment

• Must be numerate - previous Credit Control experience helpful not essential
