Working within a busy Despatch department of a Wellingborough based established Food Company. Permanent, full time position working Monday to Friday 08:30 - 5PM.
As a Sales order processor/ Customer Order Processor/ Despatch clerk you will be working across several areas of the business supporting different departments offering Customer Support to large well known retaliers, some being key customers.
The role will involve the following
- Sales order processing
- Dealing with Delivery & Stock availability issues
- Pricing queries & Delivery discrepancies
- Dealing with Proof of Delivery documentation
- Raising of credits (for authorisation)
- Invoicing customers including Key Client invoicing
- Credit control support
- Customer Services - to include answering queries and pro-actively gathering customer feedback.
- Filing
- Answer telephones / door
The key role of the Sales order processor/ Customer Order Processor/ Despatch clerk will be to support the despatch department with the following
- Booking transport requirements with transport partners
- Preparing pick lists for Warehouse
- Checking and authorisation (for payment) of transport partner invoices
This is a very exciting varied customer services role which is a full time position working Monday to Friday 08:30 - 5PM. The ideal candidate will have excellent administration and organisation skills, be able to prioritise workloads be customer focused and friendly and be used to working in a fast paced busy office environment. If you have worked as a Sales order processor/ Dispatch clerk/ transport clerk previously this would be highly beneficial. Computer literacy and a good communication skills are essential.
