Customer Service and Sales Order Administrator

A great opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and versatile and well organised Customer Service and Sales Order Administrator to join a well-established technical nature distribution firm who are established specialists in their industry.

  • Title: Customer Service and Sales Order Administrator
  • Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
  • Salary: up to £23,000pa

  • Start date: Immediately
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5pm

We are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service and Sales Order Administrator who will take autonomy of the Customer Service function for the business, duties will include but will not be restricted to:

  • Receiving orders and processing orders from both existing and prospective customers, as well as company subsidiary agents. Building rapports and customers relations.
  • Working in partnership with internal departments on more technical based customer enquiries.
  • Maximising revenue stream for the department by providing excellent customer service, despatch efficiency and identifying any further needs.
  • Placing material orders with suppliers.
  • Raising all relevant paperwork, for Customer Orders and incoming stock requirements, product data sheets and required H&S documentation for
  • Arranging courier collections for both national and international orders, negotiating prices. Liaising directly with courier company regarding any change in requirements or delays.
  • Providing administration for the business when required.

The successful Customer Service and Sales Order Administrator will ideally have previous Customer Service and Sales Order Administrator experience from an engineering or manufacturing background. As an individual it is essential that you are able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task, prioritise and communicate well with others, and take autonomy of your job role.
