A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen with our market-leading Client in their scientific field. Due to fantastic growth they have developed a new role for a Customer Service Executive / Client Service Representative to join their team. This role will provide a link between internal departments and support the post-sales communication to their customer base.
Our client is looking for a sparky graduate (or equivalent) with excellent communication skills who has a passion for providing excellent Customer Service. You will be talking to customers via phone or email, often about scientifically complex information, so an aptitude for learning new terminology is essential as is a natural ability to communicate with empathy. However, a scientific background is NOT ESSENTIAL.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Updating customers with their service status and providing test results
- Liaison with internal departments to ensure smooth, timely and accurate provision of information to clients
- High quality and timely customer service by phone and email making accurate records in the internal CRM systems
- Problem solving and Complaint resolution
- Preparation and issuing of invoices using Xero and chasing payment from customers where required
- Support for Sales and Finance administration when necessary
- Other administrative duties as may be required for the smooth running of the department
The Person:
- Educated to a university level or equivalent and demonstrate a strong academic record
- Excellent aptitude for learning
- Numerate and literate
- Fantastic phone manner
- Personable, logical and thoughtful person
- Process oriented
- Customer service focussed
- Competent in use of Excel and Word
- Experienced in use of databases (Sugar CRM & Xero desirable)
- Competent in use of office equipment e.g. scanning, printing, email
- Able to work to consistently high standards to the standards prescribed by in-house operating procedures
