Circa £19,115 negotiable depending on experience


Permanent Position

Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm Friday 8am - 3.30pm

We have a new exciting opportunity for a Digital Systems Programmer who is looking to develop their career within a rapidly growing world-renowned company on a full-time permanent basis.

Our client is offering a fantastic package including 22 days annual leave plus stats (30 in total) increasing to 35 days over 5 years. Reporting into the Research and Development Manager you will be working closely with the Manufacturing, Technical and Quality teams to deliver the software solutions that are needed. Working as the Digital Systems Programmer will require you to carry out the planning, programming and delivery of the software solutions required.

Our client currently has a Work in Progress (WIP/ERP) system in place which is within it's infancy stages and requires an individual to develop existing systems in order to support and enable continued company growth and future forecasts. Their current system allows them to manage various aspects of the manufacturing process including subcontractor orders, manage purchase orders, producing quotations and technical specifications. In addition to the ERP system they also have a Tablet system which is in place, ready for operation by the successful candidate developing the tablet system to allow SQL to track the individual products throughout the manufacturing process. As well as this you will be expected to offer technical support to the business with regards to existing software.

As a Digital Systems Programmer you must have excellent knowledge of both SQL and Microsoft Access - along with the associated Visual Basic Skills, in order to be able to work with their current systems and. We are looking for a candidate with strong verbal and written communication skills who is able to identify, articulate and solve problems.
