Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Circa £36,000 negotiable depending on experience, plus overtime
Sheffield
Permanent Position
Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm, 8am - 5pm and 2pm - 10pm (44 hour week)
Rotating shifts - early, days and afternoons with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (4hrs on the afternoon week)

This is a unique opportunity for an apprentice trained Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well established business who has recently boasted record year on year profits. Their 90,000sq ft purpose built manufacturing facility has recently been extended as a result of their recent development and product innovation. Currently employing 500 people across two sites. This company is a customer-focused business with ambitious growth plans.

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will receive a generous package consisting of 33 days annual leave (including stats), Westfield Healthcare Scheme, Life Assurance scheme, Contributory pension scheme, free car parking and staff canteen. The salary for this role is dependent on experience paying circa £36,000 plus overtime. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a very successful business in the Sheffield area whom are experiencing an extremely busy period in their history. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be working within a modern engineering factory setting. Your duties will include:

  • Planning Maintenance on the shop floor machinery including CNC machines
  • Ensuring all planned preventative maintenance is completed safely and on time
  • Diagnosing causes and rectification of breakdowns
  • Assisting with project work such as installations & commissioning of new equipment
  • Fault Finding on a variety of machinery and carrying out the necessary repairs
  • Installation, site improvements and upgrade work throughout the site
  • Working as part of a 4 person maintenance team

This role would suit an experienced Maintenance Engineer that is apprentice trained. If you have experience of working with PLC's and some mechanical maintenance knowledge, we would especially like to hear from you but these skills are not essential to succeed in this role.
