Electromechanical Fitter

Due to an increase in growth, we are proud to be seeking an experienced Electromechanical Fitter to be based within a world-class engineering facility in the Sheffield area, joining their team on a full time permanent basis. 

As an Electromechanical Fitter, reporting into the Supervisor, day to day duties will include:

Inspect and disassemble rotating machinery, including AC/DC electric motors, maintaining high standards and aiming for first-time fixes.

Carry out basic electrical testing to assess machine condition and accurately identify damage or wear.Inspect, fit, and assess bearings.

Produce clear, methodical notes and reports during disassembly and complete all daily/weekly paperwork accurately and on time.

Deliver excellent customer care while working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

As an Electromechanical Fitter you will be required to:

• Have experience with AC/DC motors.
• Be able to work away when needed.
• Positive and eager attitude towards work and learning new thing.
• Adhere to the companies housekeeping rules.Ensure work area is clean, tidy and safe at all times.

This role would suit someone with experience working as an Electromechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Maintenance Technician or Multiskilled Maintenance Technician, within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment.

• A generous £32,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependant on experience)Day shifts only (Mon-Thurs 7:30am - 4pm Fris 7:30am - 3pm) unless working away, which could be longer hours.
