English Teacher

My client is a popular oversubscribed school with academy status on the outskirts of Grantham who are looking for an English Teacher on a supply basis to start after the October half term break, to cover any unexpected absences on a day to day basis. This is an ad-hoc supply role from the outset to deliver pre planned work across the English department to KS3 and KS4 pupils. The successful English  Teacher must be enthusiastic, set high but realistic targets to challenge the pupils to reach their full potential and deliver engaging lessons across the department whilst effectively managing the classroom.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

To be considered ideally you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a recognised Teaching qualification such as a PGCE, Bachelor of Education, GTP, Certificate in Education etc. Overseas Trained English Teachers (OTT) will also be considered but it's highly desirable that you have Qualified Teacher Status for the UK.

Applications are welcome from experienced English Teachers as well as Newly Qualified English Teachers.

All English Teachers who register with Travail Education will have 2 years professional references taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed and be part of the DBS Update Service, you will also be required to attend a face to face registration.
