My very busy and well-established manufacturing client are recruiting for an Extrusion Operator in Grantham to help ensure the maximum efficiency of their production lines.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Fridays 8am -1pm, 37 hour paid week

As an Extrusion Operator your responsibilities are:

• Setting and operating plastic extruder machines.

• Monitor the production process to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.

• Ensure safety of work area.

• Perform quality control checks.

• Basic machine maintenance.

• Trouble shooting machine issue.

• Must have lots of previous experience within plastic extrusion or packaging machines.

Requirements of an Extrusion operator is:

Previous experience operating extrusion machines or similar equipment is required - Knowledge of plastic extrusion processes - Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Skills for the extrusion operator

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment - Physical stamina
