Excellent opportunity to join an industry leading local business, who have both the environment and its people in mind. This is a 6 month fixed term contract to assist this small friendly finance team in their busy season. This is a remote working position, ideally full time but part time hours may be considered. There is a possibility this may be extended.

As Finance Assistant your responsibilities will mainly involve looking after the Purchase Ledger processes within this finance team.

You will sometimes work to tight deadlines so should be able to prioritise your workload and have the ability to cope well under pressure. You will work alongside a small friendly team, so good communication skills are essential, especially as this Finance Assistant position will be working from home.

We are looking for someone who has previous purchase ledger experience and a good understanding of computer systems. You will have excellent attention to detail along with great organisational skills.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the Purchase Ledger
  • Data entry
  • Spreadsheet analysis
  • Invoice scanning
  • Invoice matching
  • Cash banking
  • General admin duties

You will be offered a salary of between £19,500-£21,000 pro rata for this 6 month fixed term contract. There may also be potential for this contract to be extended dependant upon business levels at the end of the contract.

We are looking for someone with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience in a similar Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger role.
