My client is seeking a Finance & Office Assistant to provide financial and administrative support to the manager & all staff members.

To assist with

• maintaining and updating financial records/ reports and presenting budgetary information when required;

• recording of financial transactions and issue of invoices;

• developing and maintaining effective administrative/ finance processes;

• the maintenance and currency of the website and shared storage areas (Google Drive);

• the development of marketing and publicity material;

• maintenance of the staff, volunteer and child/young people/ family data bases;

• maintenance and currency of the staff, volunteer and Child/YP/ Family databases;

• recruiting of staff and volunteers.


• undertake day to day office administrative tasks e.g dealing with mail, ordering stationary and equipment, typing, and word processing skills;

• provide information for the preparation of reports, grant applications and collation of statistics;

• take notes of meeting as required;

• maintain appropriate records and registers;

• maintain safe storage of confidential material including material awaiting shredding.


• To liaise with families, staff, volunteers and other agencies, in a polite and professional manner;

• To maintain professional links with statutory agencies and voluntary organisations;

• To attend and participate in training as required;

• To attend meetings as required;

• To undertake any other role in line with this post as directed by manager;

• To ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to within personal remit;

• To be familiar with and adhere to all policies

Candidates will be asked to sign a confidentiality document.

An enhanced DBS will be required.

Experience with Xero will be an advantage.
