Financial Accountant

Due to an imminent retirement this established Import and Distribution company within the FMCG sector are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable CIMA Qualified Financial Accountant to report directly into the Group Financial Controller and CFO.

The key function of this Financial Account role is to analyse financial information and implement effective strategies to enhance overall business performance. Combining both accounting and management skills, the role has overall accountability for preparing, developing and applying findings from financial reports.

Additional responsibilities preparing statutory management accounts, produce month and year end journals, reconciliation, calculate and pay VAT, produce financial statements,.

The ideal Financial Accountant will be personable, adaptable, relationship builder, be able to work in a busy challenging environment and have a minimum of 3 years Financial/Management Accounting experience.
