FLT Operative

FLT operative £13.50 ph, working 4 days on and 4 days off, 12-hour shifts - 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am alternating, free on-site parking, paid leave, pension. Training and development

One of the UK's leading distribution companies has an exciting new opening for an additional Warehouse or Forklift Operative for their Melksham site.

The Forklift Operative role encompasses a variety of tasks which include:

• Picking and packing goods using a hand-held scanner.
• Stock management and rotation.
• Quality control and vehicle checks.
• VNA forklift operating (Full training will be provided).
• Adhering to all company health and safety regulations.

Previous VNA forklift truck experience would be highly advantageous however, if you hold a reach or counterbalance FLT licence, full training can be provided. The role would be ideally suited to you if you have worked within a busy warehouse environment, or have used an FLT in a distribution and supply chain setting. If you are able to demonstrate working independently whilst following instruction then this is also an ideal opportunity for you.
