To achieve this we are seeking to recruit a Forklift Field Service engineer / Agricultural field service engineer / Plant engineer to join our existing team in coping with a rapidly growing order book. 

Job Title: Forklift Field Service engineer / Agricultural field service engineer / Plant engineer 
Salary: £25 per annum + overtime OTE 30k +
Location: Yate Duration: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week 8.00 4.30pm and 3.30pm Fridays

The ideal Forklift Field Service engineer / Agricultural field service engineer / Plant engineer will ideally have a Plant or Agricultural engineering background or have experience in servicing and repairing diesel forklifts. In addition the Forklift Field Service engineer / Agricultural field service engineer / Plant engineer will also have good hydraulic and if possible basic 12v electrical experience relating to this type of equipment. 

The job requires the service, repair and planned maintenance of machines both in the workshop and out on site, so there is variety but the ability to diagnose equipment/machine faults and problems on your own is also essential. You will also be required to perform PDI’s on new machines prior to delivery to the customer from time to time. 

The Forklift Field Service engineer / Agricultural field service engineer / Plant engineer role involves dealing with customers so you must be a good communicator and the need to be flexible to attend call outs to breakdowns at short notice is essential. There will be regular opportunities for working overtime both in the week and on Saturdays if desired. Specific product training will be provided but candidates will need to have expertise in the areas covered above.

This is a permanent role working for a friendly company and team with the variety of workshop and field based. There are 22 days holiday + bank holidays, pension and overtime at time and a half.
