Foundry Operative

£12.50ph, overtime paid at premium rates, temp to perm, day shift only, training opportunities, free parking, Chesterfield

We have two positions available for the role of Foundry Operative. You will be reporting into the Foundry Manager and working as part of a medium sized team. Your day to day duties will include;

• Working with 2 and 4 tonne furnaces
• Creating moulds
• Melting
• Adhering to health and safety policies
• Completing shift paperwork

This role would suit candidates that have previously worked as a steel operative, steel worker, machine operator, forge operative, furnace operator, foundry op, moulder, melter or saw operator within a heavy engineering, steel works, manufacturing or heat treatment environment.
