Goods In / Goods Out Person

Goods In / Goods Out Person - Temp to perm position - up to £13.50 per hour plus benefits. Based in Yate, South Gloucestershire - Hours are 9am to 5.30pm, Mon to Fri - Benefits include 28 days holiday (rising with service), Pension, Bonus, onsite parking. Temp to perm position to start ASAP

Our client are a successful and expanding manufacturing company, who are looking for a Goods In / Goods Out person to join them on a temp to perm position. Working in a busy and fast paced environment, you will be working as part of a small team to supply materials to the shop floor. The successful candidate will ideally have a Reach and Counterbalance forklift licence (will accept inhouse) and have previously worked within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Duties of the Goods In / Goods Out person will involve:

• Unloading vehicles and booking goods in
• Putting stock away on racking
• Supplying materials to shop floor
• Order picking & packing and preparing for despatch
• Goods out
• Taking part in stock checks (as and when required)

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and have excellent attention to detail, as well as good numeracy and literacy skills. This role will involve a mixture of forklift work to unload vehicles, as well as some handballing.
