Job Title: Goods In Operative

Location: Burgess Hill - Outskirts

Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm

Salary: Up to £8.72 p/h

Duration: Temporary with potential to go Permanent for the right candidate

Benefits: Holiday accrual, onsite parking

We are delighted to be working with an established client who are seeking a Goods In Operative initially a temporary basis with possibility to go permanent for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to further their career in a friendly, lively environment, located on the outskirts of Burgess Hill.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving deliveries
• Unloading and checking deliveries against delivery paperwork
• Checking stock has not be damaged in transit
• Moving goods to the relevant areas in the warehouse
• Regular lifting / manual handling

Required Skills

• Experience in a Goods In role preferred
• Must be able to lift in excess of 25kg
• Good physical stamina as you'll be on your feet/moving around all day
• Strong knowledge of health & safety
• A good team player with a willingness to contribute fully and flexibly as part of the overall store team
