This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate to work in a challenging process improvement role for a growing engineering company in Wetherby.
You will work across all departments to analyse and improve manufacturing processes.

The role:
Work with team members to assess processes implement improvements and resolve issues
Optimise processes where possible to achieve maximum output and drive down cost
Assist with new product introduction to ensure best process and optimisation
Produce standard work instructions
Assist with quality improvement and practical problem-solving
Supporting root cause analysis and fault-finding activities
Provide training to production team members for new products & process
Undertake projects on existing production to improve production outputs
Participate in cost-saving initiatives and improvement projects

The person:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in chemical, industrial or manufacturing engineering
Knowledge of process improvement techniques
Ability to undertake time and motion analysis
Good understanding & demonstrate the use of problem-solving techniques
Confident trainer and able to communicate at all levels
Able to influence change
