Our client is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to be responsible for the development of all health and safety management systems to ensure compliance with current legislation and approved code of practices. The manager will provide advice, support and guidance for staff on site and remotely to assist them in maintaining health and safety standards, fully embedding health and safety principles into the company culture.

They are looking for a qualified Health and Safety professional who can make use of their experience and knowledge, leading, motivating and influencing others at both operational and strategic levels. This person will be self-motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic, confident and proactive with excellent communication skills. They will have the confidence to work within a client facing role and will have the ability to work under pressure within a performance driven environment.

Disciplined with a "right first time" work ethic and able to work autonomously, setting personal deadlines and goals and be able to prepare accurate and incisive management reports.

The successful candidate should hold a Formal qualification in Health and Safety e.g. degree or NVQ Level 4 or Diploma and possess a sound knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
