Hours are Monday to Thursday 6am - 3pm and early finish Friday

We are looking for an experienced HGV Fitter to join our client for a permanent role in Grantham in the workshop during this exciting time of growth and innovation.

As an HGV Fitter you will be required to:

• Fitting new truck and trailer components across a range of products.

• May be required to weld, fabricate, and paint.

• Make and fix small components on trucks and trailers (e.g. bracket fitting).

• Diagnose faults and rectify general maintenance also.

You will need to be experienced in HGV Fitter or Mobile Fitter or Trailer Fitting and have a proven track record and solid background in mechanical work.

In addition, the following key skills and experience are essential:

• Demonstrable experience as a Fitter, ideally in an HGV trailer workshop.

• Ability to use hand and power tools, such as hoists or air-powered devices,

• Welding, Fabricating, and/or Painting experience,

• Experience working on heavy commercial vehicles.
