We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our client for a permanent role in Grantham in the workshop during this exciting time of growth and innovation.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 6am - 3pm and early finish Friday

As an HGV Technician you will be required to:

• Installation of brakes pads/disks, clutches, gearboxes, drive shafts etc,

• Fitting new truck and trailer components across a range of products.

• May be required to weld, fabricate, and paint.

• MOT checks, safety inspections to DVSA standards,

• Diagnose faults and rectify.

Requirements for the Role:

• Demonstrable experience as a Fitter, ideally in an HGV trailer workshop.

• Ability to use hand and power tools, such as hoists or air-powered devices,

• Welding, Fabricating and/or Painting experience an advantage

• Experience working on heavy commercial vehicles such as lorries and buses

• Good attention detail.

You will need to be experienced as HGV Fitter or HGV Mechanic or Mobile Fitter and have a proven track record in fixing and maintaining HGV's / Commercial Vehicles and solid background in mechanical work.
