Our semi rural client is seeking a HR Assistant to work with their small friendly team. The business is expanding and this is a great opportunity to join a company with great opportunities for development.

Responsibilities include:

• Carry out HR induction for new employees.

• Assist with organisation of events and staff development days as appropriate.

• Provide a full recruitment function including preparation of job descriptions, person specifications and adverts in conjunction with relevant manager.

• Provide advice and support on short listing, the scoring process and interviewing as required.

• Issue offer letters and contracts of employment to new employees, together with all supporting documentation.

• Receive and process Maternity/Paternity requests and ensure that all eligibility checks are undertaken, and references taken up for all new employees.

• Ensure leaver process is completed, including all documentation, and conduct exit interviews as required.

In order to be considered for the HR Assistant role candidate must have strong IT skills and a good attention to detail. Candidates must have some HR exposure, a CIPD qualification would be helpful but is not essential. If you are looking for a role in a department that is fast paced with an inclusive team and you enjoy managing your own tasks, this might be the role for you.
