The Role:

HR Business Partner required to join an established friendly HR Team working within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This crucial role will require a HR professional who can provide effective HR solutions, aligned to the business strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Advising and guiding managers on a variety of HR issues.

• Dealing with complex employment relations cases such as capability cases and absence management.

• Collaborating with the union.

• Conducting recruitment interviews.

• Reviewing and updating policy and procedures, all whilst following best practice and employment law.

• Line management responsibility for a HR Business Coordinator who will support you in HR activities.

• Undertaking project work where applicable.

• Supporting the HR team to drive initiatives to meet the Companies vision and mission.

The Candidate:

The successfully appointed HR Business Partner will have the following skills and abilities:

• Extensive HR experience is essential, you will have operated at HR Advisor/HRBP level in your previous roles ideally within a manufacturing environment.

• Working knowledge of Employment Law.

• A team player with the ability to also work on your own initiative.

• The ability to line manage effectively displaying strong leadership.

• Organisational and excellent interpersonal skills are crucial.

• You need to be a highly motivated, assertive self-starter, with exceptional communication skills (at all levels of the organisation).

• Educated to degree level in a suitable discipline (or equivalent), a CIPD level 5/7 qualification (or working towards) is preferable.

The Package:

• £35,000 per annum

• 33 days holiday (pro rata)

• Working hours 08.30am - 4.30pm (M-F)
