Excellent opportunity to join a newly established organisation with an exciting product and big growth plans. They seek a hands on Joiner who is either in a supervisory / management role at present and looking for a new venture or a joiner seeking their next career move into a senior role.

The company produce a high end, bespoke, fully fitted modern products for the domestic and leisure industry. The work will be mainly focused around joinery but will also include tiling, laying flooring, basic plumbing, electrics, solar panels and kitchen fitting. We are keen to hear from people who also have a good understanding of other trades and enjoy a varied role.

Your role as the Joinery Supervisor / Lead Carpenter will include:
Producing prototypes and customer orders
Working to drawings
Managing a team of 3 people
Ordering and managing materials
Monitoring of quality and dealing with issues as they arise
Working in a hands on capacity alongside your team
Occasional visits to the Northampton facility
Oversee all aspects of H & S on the workshop
Implement and work to SOP's
Promote an environment of continual process improvement

As the Joinery Supervisor / Lead Carpenter, you will:
Have confident bench joinery or site joinery skills and ideally have undertaken a recognised qualification
Be able to read and work to drawings
Have the ability to lead, train and motivate a team
Be able to work to production targets and deadlines
Have a proven background in producing one off, high-end bespoke products
Be quality focused
Any CNC experience would be of interest
Have a confident understanding of health and safety and risk assessments
Anyone with a background in caravan fitting would be of interest
