Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + Commission

Location: Crawley (OUTSKIRTS - Own transport essential)

Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am - 5.30pm

Are you an experienced Marketing Account Manager? Do you have experience working in a Marketing Agency and looking after Key Accounts? Do you enjoy working closely with your clients to grow and develop their spend?

We are delighted to be working exclusively with our client, a small, creative and vibrant Design, Web and Video Agency in their search for a Key Account Manager to join their team.

The Key Account Manager will service allocated Key Accounts and grow revenue by identifying opportunities. They will

ensure exceptional client service as well as maximising profit on revenue. The role would suit someone with a background in Key Account Management, within a Marketing or Creative Agency environment who is experienced in retaining and growing existing business.

Team fit is of the utmost importance, and our client are keen to ensure the successful candidate is the perfect fit for the existing team. A sense of humour and positive attitude are an absolute must!

Responsibilities

  • Responding to creative and marketing needs of the client in a timely manner, having face to face meetings, online conference or telephone calls to understand the full details of requests to accurately feedback to the team.
  • Communicating any briefs or questions to the team (both studio and the operations) clearly and effectively.
  • Keeping track of all jobs for the key accounts through the team and communicating back to the client to keep them up to date.
  • Having appropriate brief, progress and debrief meetings with the team
  • Regular weekly update meetings with key accounts to not only keep them updated but to gain feedback, keep
  • updated with the key accounts business and their circumstances.
  • Proactively identify other opportunities with the key account's business by meeting new people and proactive enough to present new ideas that were not necessarily asked for.
  • Preparation of a quarterly recommendation reviews for the client, summaries of what is recommended for the next quarter
  • Keeping up to date with the news and current issues related to the key accounts.

The Person

  • Commercially astute with the confidence to upsell to clients and improve service
  • A confident public speaker who is able to inspire, challenge and deliver great service to clients
  • Have passion about marketing views and encourage clients and team to consider marketing best practice around our services and processes
  • A solid appreciation of design, web development and digital marketing methodology and technology (technical ability to undertake these is not essential, but could be a bonus)
  • Experience within account management within a creative agency
  • Experience on client-side marketing (bonus!)
