Our Newark client is currently seeking a Legal Secretary to join their small friendly team. The successful candidate will provide a high level of Administrative and Secretarial support to the conveyancing team. You will be required to carry out audio typing and copy typing of letters and documents, filing, scanning and data entry.
The candidate will need to be flexible and be able to prioritise workload whilst using own initiative. The successful candidate will conduct themselves professionally and be smart in appearance at all times. This is an excellent opportunity.
You will have excellent communication skills, be methodical in your approach, confident working within a commercial environment with a willingness to support all areas of the business in this fast-paced legal secretarial role.
Duties will include the following;
• Full Secretarial support to a fee-earner
• Audio and Copy Typing to a high standard of accuracy
• Manage and organise large volumes of documents
• Drafting correspondence
In order to be considered for this role candidates must have:
• Ability to work methodically and priorities work load
• Intermediate Word and Excel skills
