Logistics / Operations Planning Administrator

Logistics/Operations Administrator, Harrogate, Salary up to £21500.

We are currently recruiting a Logistics/Operations Administrator for an expanding manufacturing company based in the Harrogate area.

The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Logistics/Operations Department.

Previous administrative experience within an FMCG environment would be preferred, along with a good understanding of order processing and a keen eye for detail.

You will have the ability to process accurate data in a timely manner. prioritising your workload and providing excellent communication between departments.

Responsibilities include:

Ensuring all company health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times

Maintaining high levels of health and hygiene within the workplace

Inputting daily production data

Maintaining operational KPI records

Processing orders

Maintaining up to date records of suppliers, products and prices

Monitoring stock levels and movements

Producing accurate daily and weekly reports and processing timesheets

Maintaining company records on materials, goods and suppliers

Matching delivery notes to purchase orders

Checking Supplier invoices and resolving any queries

General operations administrative support

What we are looking for:

A background in FMCG environments (preferable but not essential)

Experience and understanding of modern manufacturing environments

The ability to work in a high pressured volume manufacturing environment

Have the ability to process data in a timely manner

Excellent communication skills

Enthusiasm and ambition

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Powerpoint

Previous experience with an MRP system

Working hours are 8:30am-17:00 Monday to Friday and this Logistics/Operations Administrator role offers a very competitive salary.
