Machine Operator

£11.73 per hour, 33 days hols after 12 weeks, AM PM & Nights, potential for permanent, premium overtime available, free parking, globally renowned business, career development opportunity, South Sheffield.

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a well established engineering / production company to help support the increased demand in production.

As a Machine Operator reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be working in a heavy engineering environment that is a busy, physically demanding and a fast-paced environment and you will be using your initiative to get the job done. Your day to day duties as a Machine Operator will include:

• Ensuring that all machines on-site are running efficient and effectively.

• Running multiple machines at once.
• Loading and Unloading machines.
• Reporting any production / machining issues.
• Accurately recording on a job sheet the machines performed.
• Working to production targets.

This role would be ideal for someone with a machine operator, machinist or general operative background within an engineering, production or manufacturing environment.
