Maintenance Engineer

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER REQUIRED, WELLINGBOROUGH BASED COMPANY, PERMANENT ROLE, IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE, MONDAY TO FRIDAY WORKING 0730 - 1630, £30,000 - £40,000 PER ANNUM

We are working with a global business who supply equipment to the construction industry. We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team to conduct both building and plant equipment maintenance.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be working alongside Health & Safety Management and the role will involve the following

• To be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the plant and equipment.
• Carry out building maintenance repairs when needed.
• Work to a routine maintenance schedule for all equipment including air tools and power tools welding and paint spraying machines.
• Project work to improve the safety and efficiency of equipment.
• Fault finding on all equipment including electrical control panels and hydraulic systems
• H & S compliance of all maintenance operations

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills experience & attributes

• Have worked as a Maintenance Engineer for at least 2 years.
• Experienced in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering ideally with 17th or 18th edition electrical qualification
• Experience of operating scissor and boom lifts
• A good working knowledge of H & S regulations
• Experience/knowledge of overhead gantry cranes and welding operations would also be advantageous although not essential.
• Attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
