Excellent opportunity for a Manual Machinist / Miller, Turner to work for a growing organisation in the Bradford area. We ideally seek traditionally apprentice-trained engineers who have worked in a precision environment previously

As the Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for:

Working to drawings setting up milling and turning machines and tooling

Producing high quality parts for special purpose machinery

Overcoming production issues and working to deadlines

Mechanical fitting when required

Quality checking your own work

Basic machine maintenance

As the Manual Machinist, Miller / Turner you will:

Hold a traditional machine shop / mechanical apprenticeship

Have experience producing one off, bespoke precision products

Have worked on manual millers and turning machines

Be able to read, interpret and work to engineering drawings
