Manufacturing Operative

£27,217 p/a, Sheffield S9, 12hr shifts days and nights including every other weekend, 24 hours week 1, 60 hours week 2, free parking, annual bonus scheme, pension contributions, training, Christmas shutdown

We are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company located in Sheffield that has been in operation for almost half a century and offer a modern manufacturing working environment. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor as a Manufacturing Operator your daily duties will include;

Assisting and running the line and packing the finished products.

Ensuring the line is efficiently changed and monitored

Performing quality inspection tests on finished products

Labelling and packing of finished goods.

Warehousing duties

Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

The successful Machine Operator will preferably have experience in extrusion, injection moulding and blow moulding. Having previous printing experience would be a major advantage, alongside previous experience on counterbalance trucks however this is not essential.

This role would suit someone who has recently been working as a Manufacturing Operator, Production Operative or Machine operator within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment.

In return for the above our client is offering competitive benefits package including:

£27,217 per annum

Rotating 12hr days 6am - 6pm and nights 6pm - 6am on a 6-week rota basis (Working 2x 12 hour shifts one week and 5x 12 hour shifts the week after, rotating) working every other weekend.
