Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Location: Outskirts of Burgess Hill - Own transport essential due to rural location

Hours: 9am - 4pm

Salary: Up to £22000

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Client's Marketing team.

This is a varied role with an opportunity to be involved in all areas of the company's marketing strategy in a positive, friendly environment that encourages growth and learning.

The Role:

• Assisting the Marketing Manager with marketing activities.
• Creating content - blog posts, brochures, product pages
• Producing marketing communications - including e-shots
• Running Social Media channels and growing presence and following
• Updating the Wordpress website
• Reporting and measuring on products and campaigns
• Preparing for and attending events and exhibitions

The Person:

• A bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in a marketing related subject and/or experience in a similar role.
• Sound understanding of marketing principles, online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.
• Strong copy skills with an ability to write articulate, concise and accurate SEO optimised content
• Ability to use Photoshop and/or Illustrator
• Working knowledge of Wordpress
• Willingness to learn and grow
• High level of IT literacy
• Experience in e-commerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing and Social Media - highly desirable
