Our global client, based in Newark is looking for a Marketing Specialist with strong print and digital PR experience to join their team.

Working closely with the sales and marketing team, and reporting in to the European Marketing Manager - the Marketing Specialist will be fundamental in increasing the company's brand awareness and reputation across the UK. Working in line with the European marketing strategy, you will maintain the corporate brand image and sales sector focus.

The role for Marketing Specialist will include;

• Manage the press and annual media plans/budget across the UK including working with 3rd party press agencies

• Prepare press and media strategies with digital and publication plans

• Support the UK sales teams with market and competitor analysis, communicating the marketing strategies and sales focus

• Managing marketing budgets, evaluating methods and performance

• Gather marketing data and report regularly on the UK Market to estimate volumes by segment, brand, product type and industry

• Generate new ideas for marketing to support the UK Sales and distributors

The ideal Marketing Specialist should ideally have the following;

• A Marketing degree or similar qualification

• Three years plus marketing/press liaison experience

• Adobe Creative suite would be helpful but is not essential

• Excellent attention to detail and copywriting skills

• Some exposure within a manufacturing or engineering environment
