Our Grantham based client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop customer products for the auto industry.

Duties include;

• Creation of design and assembly drawings.

• Produce BDM for special products and procurement.

• Assist clients and engineers with telephone support.

• Update technical documents and manuals when needed.

• Liaise with planning team to ensure timely project fulfilment.

The successful Design Engineer must be proficient in the use of Autodesk/ Inventor/SolidWorks and intermediate Word and Excel skills. Min HND or equivalent or two years plus a sound mechanical background and fabricated assembly and sheet metalwork. Hydraulic and Electrical knowledge would be helpful but is not essential.
