Salary: £18,000 - £22,500 depending on experience

Location: Burgess Hill Outskirts - own transport essential due to location

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm

We are delighted to be working with our established client in their search for an Office / Admin Assistant to join their friendly and dynamic team. You will be working for a company that prides themselves on high standards of quality and performance, which has allowed then to grow in a competitive and diverse marketplace within the aircraft maintenance sector.

The purpose of this role will be to provide excellent administration and customer support. You will need to be enthusiastic, positive and organised who can recognise and react to the needs of the company. This is a great role for someone looking for a busy, varied role in a Company that will help them realise their career goals and aspirations

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Carrying out administrative duties for senior members of the team including sales support
  • Providing admin support to the Customer Accounts Executive. Carrying out tasks as required such as raising new work packs, quotations, answering and resolving customer enquiries
  • General HR duties to include monitoring of time sheets
  • Administration of technical publication records, company procedures and forms
  • Ensuring good housekeeping of the office. Management of the fire, building alarms and utilities. Liaising with third parties for regular maintenance checks. Re-ordering of office and workshop vending supplies.
  • Administration of incoming imports and exports
  • Scanning and archiving of work packs, answering the phone, greeting visitors and preparing rooms for meetings

The Person

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • An organised, confident individual with excellent attention to detail and a good telephone manner
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Numeracy skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and use own initiative
