AAT Study Support Available

We are currently looking for an Office / Accounts Administrator to join this family owned business in Harrogate. The main purpose of the role is to support the Office Manager and team of staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answering the telephone and managing client calls
  • Greeting clients and providing tea & coffee for meetings
  • Filing and general stationery duties
  • Completing detailed job forms
  • Checking invoices - identifying any errors, checking VAT
  • Maintaining vehicle fleet records
  • Arranging and booking vehicle maintenance appointments
  • Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger administration once trained


You will need a good telephone manner as you will be answering the telephone and dealing with clients. You will be able to master the perfect cup of tea as you will be providing refreshments to Managers and Clients at occasional meetings.

We are looking for someone who has initiative and drive and can learn on the job. The right candidate for this Office / Accounts Administrator role will have excellent attention to detail and have a good head for numbers. Full training will be given, alongside day release study support to gain AAT qualifications. This Office / Accounts Administrator role will evolve in time incorporating more of the Accounts function. Once trained you will manage the Sales and Purchase Ledgers and go on to look after the Accounts function.
