Planner Estimator
Salary £35,000, Yate, BS37, 33 days leave, 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, early finish Friday pension, life assurance parking, potential for flexible start finish times, permanent role.

The successful estimator planner engineering estimator planner will be integral to a friendly and established engineering organisation working predominantly in the aerospace industry and will report to the engineering manager.

The estimator planner, engineering estimator, planner role will involve

·Interpreting customer engineering drawings and specifications
·Preparing accurate costs for materials, labour and services to prepare customer quotations.
·Respond to technical queries raised by customers and suppliers.
·Generate estimates for bought out items, engineering costs etc
·Contact suppliers and sub-contractors to achieve the best 'value for money' and competitive lead times
·Assist in providing manufacturing steps including tooling, bills of material and process routings
·Working with the ERP system communicating with colleagues to implement and achieve business objectives
·Liaising with various internal departments, the shop floor and customers.
·Competent in Microsoft Office and any ERP/MRP type system

The estimator planner, engineering estimator, planner role would suit

·Candidates who are currently involved in planning or estimating from an engineering or aerospace engineering environment.
·Served an Engineering apprenticeship in machining or similar knowledge acquired in machine shop environments
·Hold City & Guilds or HNC/D or degree level or equivalent qualification in engineering.
·Competent in Microsoft Office and any ERP/MRP type system knowledge would be advantageous but training will be provided on the companies system.
·Able to work on their own initiative but in a team environment with colleagues, interacting with other departments.
· Providing related engineering support working to deadlines.

Candidates will be integral to a friendly and established engineering organisation working predominantly in the aerospace industry in the Yate, South Gloucestershire area.
