The Role

We are delighted to be working with some manufacturing businesses in the Uckfield and surrounding areas in their search for Production Operatives to join their businesses.

We are looking to speak with experienced production operatives to work environments that include tasks such as:

• Manufacturing food and cosmetic products by hand and using machinery
• Using a variety of production machinery including labelling, filling and bottling machinery
• Preparing packaging for products
• Loading and unloading products onto production lines
• Warehousing and stock control of materials and finished products
• Goods in and goods out

Requirements

For our current clients' vacancies, we would expect the Production Operative to be physically fit as the roles will often involve lifting boxes up to 20kg. Previous experience in a Production role is desired, but for some positions, those with the right attitude will be considered. In some environments an understanding of food hygiene standards would be beneficial. These roles would suit someone who has worked as a Production Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Factory Operative. Due to the rural location, your own transport is required.
