We are delighted to be working with a very successful and constantly growing manufacturing company that has an opportunity for a passionate and reliable Production Operative to join their team. This company is based in Sheffield, 10 minutes away from Meadowhall and has brilliant transport links which are also accessible from Rotherham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual that has a background in manufacturing or production. Reporting into the Production Leader you will be responsible for:
- Working on different type of machinery on the shop floor.
- Loading and unloading machines.
- Moving materials around the factory.
- Packing products ready for dispatch.
- Quality checking products.
- Adhering to all health and safety requirements.
This role would suit candidates with previous experience working as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative or a Warehouse Operative within a manufacturing or production environment.
The successful Production Operative will:
- Have previously worked within a manufacturing environment.
- Confident being trained and moved around different departments.
The company has a brilliant benefits package and if the role had become permanent the benefits package will include:
- Days only.
- 39 hours per week.
- Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Fridays 8:00am - 3:30pm.
