Production Technician

Production Technician - £30,000 - £32,000 per annum, Benefits include 33 days holiday, Pension, canteen and car parking - Permanent position - Mon to Fri, 7am to 4.30pm (early finish on Fri)

Our client is a leading manufacturer of stainless steel products for various industries and due to a healthy order book they are currently looking for a CNC Operator / Production Technician to join their team. Working as part of a team and reporting to the Operations Manager, this role would suit someone who has previous experience in a similar role within an engineering environment.

Key Duties:

• ·Set, adjust and maintain bespoke production machinery used for cutting, forming and assembling metal parts
• ·Carry out daily and weekly maintenance duties
• ·Work with production staff to resolve technical and setting issues within a manufacturing environment

Experience:

• ·Previous experience in engineering environment a similar role - or may have Toolmaking experience
• ·Good knowledge of Hydraulics and pneumatics
• ·PLC experience would be useful
• ·Working to ISO9001 standards.
• .ONC or HNC in Mechanical Engineer (not essential)

This is a very hands on role within a busy production environment, where you will be working to support customer demand. You will be working very closely with the Production Manager who will be able to offer additional support and training for the right candidate.
