Our Doncaster based client is looking to recruit a Purchase ledger Assistant to join their small finance team. Duties include:
• Process high volume of invoices in an accurate and timely manner
• Reconciliation of supplier statements.
• Deal with supplier enquires either by phone, post, or email.
• Monitor debit PL account balances, processing refunds where necessary.
• Monthly reconciliation of the Purchase Ledger accounts.
• Process all company payments, Stirling and Foreign Currency.
• Reconciliation of all company bank accounts.
• Assist with Year End audit and cash book maintenance
• GRNI Reconciliation, expenses claims and credit card bills.
• Produce P/L reports for budget holders.
To be considered for the Purchase Ledger Assistant role, the candidate must have intermediate IT skills and a keen attention to detail. Excellent numeracy, written and communication skills and problem-solving abilities are helpful.
Experience of working in a Purchase Ledger role is essential and experience using EPICORE is advantageous.
