Job Title: Quality Administrator - Documentation
Salary: £11.00 per hour
Location: Haywards Heath
Duration: Temporary until the end of the year with potential for extension
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (possible overtime available)
We have a fantastic temporary opportunity for 3 months (potential for extension) as an Administrator within a Quality department for a local manufacturing company. This role will work closely with a team to ensure timely handling of all quality assurance documentation and contracts.
The successful candidate will require strong administration skills, with experience of working within a manufacturing or engineering company. You will need to have keen attention to detail, work efficiently and accurately with excellent computer skills. Ideally you will also have experience of quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Handle QA certification and customer documentation
- Compile and submit documents to customer for approval - includes:
- Schedules
- Document packs
- GA drawings
- Outlined procedures
- Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal Contract Engineers to ensure documents are technically accurate and supplied on time
- Check incoming supplier documentation in accordance with purchase specifications
- Develop and maintain accurate and retrievable filing systems
- Manual and electronic archiving
- General department administration as required
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience within a manufacturing/engineering role
- An understanding of quality /certification would be desirable
- Strong administration and organisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of PC based software, such as MS Word, MS Excel, SAP and Lotus Notes
- Accurate keyboard skills and a customer orientated telephone manner
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of personnel
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, prioritise work and respond to changing deadlines and priorities
Candidates should have significant experience of working in an administration role under limited supervision in a high pressured environment. A technical aptitude is preferred.
